Subject: excellent

this may be one of the disco biscuits' finest gestures to this date. listening to the mother's words brought me to tears, and the music is infused with the determination to celebrate Jeremy's life. Not a typical show by any means. Not to make comparisons, but the Dead never did any kind of public memorials for any of their keyboard players, although there were some unofficial ones during shows. Nonetheless, in celebrating Jeremy's life, the disco biscuits clearly established who they are and where they come from. I am sure this was a great healing experience for all. I'm glad they made this show the gift that it was.

Subject: sound quality?

do any biscuits fans care about the sound quality or source? Anyway, I just dl'd it and its pretty good. the vocals are a little more crisp than the instruments.

Subject: In a Hot Air Balloon!

Oh yeah.....The HAB opera was played with as much intensity and soul as I've heard. Mike Greenfield did not take away anything from the greatness of this moment, in fact he might've even added more to it. But rather than the HAB, the first set is sick, sick, sick. From the emotion and vibe the second set brings, being that is was Jeremy's favorite song, the 1st set might have a tendency to get overlooked. Not for me. This two-song set features two of this bands greatest jam vehicles maybe ever. Shem-Rah, with a "Talkin' bout' your life" vocal tease devoted to Jeremy. Really cool, and maybe the most intense AC2B all year. My personal favorite song. Thank you Jeremy!
